I have made the boot cd with the flash and hacked bios. When I insert the disk and click to flash chip nothing happens. There is no load bar just some weird symbols. I have a samsung drive and I am using cd-rw. I have the flash protection disabled and I am on bank 1. Any suggestions

did you put atleast 100MB Dummy file on there??and it should be a udf cd you are making.....

did you put atleast 100MB Dummy file on there??and it should be a udf cd you are making.....if it dont work the second time jus pm me and i will make a ready to burn Nero image for you i have one for the 1.0-1.5 but not the 1.6...try what i said first but if it dont work get back at me through a pm....

I followed the steps from xbox-scene. I created the bios bin file with flash bios v301 on bank and the evox m8 on bank 2. I created 1mb dummy file. I have Nero express and I belive this is where I am running into problems. All the tutorials are shown using a different version and I dont have the same functions.

i used a 100 mb dummy file and i would suggest getting Nero 7 because you have to create a UDF cd for the bios and for the bios you need X25035 V1.6....that would be the best bios out right now for that chip....
