I got this new ipod and it will only play mp4's i have a program that will convert avi or mpegs into mp4's i just need to convert a dvd into a avi or mpeg?? any ideas??

that program does not work!! it will only do some of the movie and then stop or it will error and stop after about 5 minutes or so. and i even have the full version, me along with many others are haveing the same problems. is their another program that will do the same thing??

The program can rip your DVD to both AVI and MP4 for iPod. Have a look at this guide:
