Hi,

I need some help with the following:
I have an mpg file that plays normal on my laptop.I burned it to data like I always do to play it in my Phillips DVP 5140.The disc played normal in my laptop also. But in my DVP there's no sound.I converted it to avi...and same thing..no audio on my dvp...but plays good on the laptop. And there's nothing wrong with my dvp...it's a new one..and it plays all other files with no problem.when I converted it to avi I checked it with g-spot..and is was mp3...all other files with the same mp3 codec play also good in my dvp,but this particilar file's got me puzzled.

So my question his: Do I have to convert the mpg file to ac3 that is dvp friendly and if yes how or with wich program???

Thanks in advance.

ps: sorry for the long story
