I know that limewire has spyware bundled with it, but if i download it and only use it for songs, will my computer ever completely go so slow, or become so bad that i need to erase everything and reinstall everything?

Also are there any other adverse effects that would be very bad?
Finally if i wanted to, could i uninstall limewire and easily get rid of the spyware that came with it and would it come back?

I have Windows XP if that helps. Thanks.

Try DC++. it doesn't have any spyware.

Get Limewire, install it, run it then search for limewire Pro with it. It doesnt have any spyware or adware or anything i dont think.

Go to limewire site and try and locate Bitzi, download it. When you do a search in limewire, select the file or movie you want, right click it, go down to advanced then to Look up file with Bitzi. If the file is genuine the Bitzi search will confirm it, on the other hand if it's a bogus file it will say Bitzi unknown Bitprint.

Since getting this program I saved heaps of time and eliminated any false downloads. Bitzi is a free program.

Thanks for the help, im tryin DC++, not as easy as limewire, especially for music that isn't popular today, but it works.
