I USING UTORRENT AND MY DOWNLOADS are very slow does anybody know how to accelerate them?

one thing you can do is right click a download and change the bandwith allocation to high...ths will sometimes speed things along...but as for permanent..there really isnt anything you can do...you can only DL afa (as fast as) some else can upload. sorry

thanks bremen now i've got another problem i downloaded mission impossible 3 and it doesn't have any sound.
I'm new to torrents so, i don't know if this no sound problem is just something that happens with torrents or if there is something else i need to do.
anymore help will be greatly appreciated.

Go to utorrent's site and read the faqs. It talks about slow download speeds, and how to fix it. Your "Port Forwarding" isn't setup right. It tells you how to set it up right. It's kinda involved, so I gave up on it. I figured I wouldn't be downloading anymore, so I really didn't need it done.
If you had no sound from the download, I'd say the source was bad.....
