hey does anyone know if you are able to get on xbox live with the new xbox 360 firmware hack. they wont boot me will they if i get on with the hack. just let me know if anyone has succeeded with the xbox live using the firmware hack.

Icarbutt :most of this has already been posted ,but don't take offence .I want people to know that hacking 360 is here to stay.
gamer17 ;well as we speak there is a forum in the top ten here so just look their.(The xbox live thing takes explaining which is hard and cost web space)Thanks.

hey what if i bought a extra TS-H943 DVD drive. then changed the firmware on one of em and kept the original firmware on the other. so when ever i go online then i can just switch em so they dont kick me off later with the patch. would this work or would the xbox 360 detect a change in a the dvd drive. thanks

i read from another website that yes, u can still go on LIVE, but there is a very high risk that they will realize and chuck u off. but thats not it, as there are not that many people wid modded firmware 360's they may start to take serious action as an example to the rest to show that if anybody does it this is wots gonna happen. i'm just wondering can they trace u via a xbox 360? like address etc?

yah im pretty sure if they can see if you have a hacked xbox then they can see your ip address and/or you mac address. you have to remember you are playing on there network. there for they can control everything just like its there big lan in there house. its just like your able to detect your xbox ip address throught your home LAN.
