Hi there guys. I am having a problem with converting .avi files to .mpeg2(using Cucusoft AVI to VCD DVD MPEG Creator Pro).

I am currently trying to get all my Prison Break episodes on my 8.5 dvds. Well i had hardly any space and didn't know if i was gunna run out when converting to mpeg2( for some reason when i do this the size of the vids nearly quadrupled.....), so i did 11 episodes in one coversion and 11 in the other.

Well i finished both conversions now and i am having two major problems.

The first is on the first batch of 11 episodes the sound just gets cut-off toward the end(last couple episodes), and i dont know why??? Is there a way to restore the sound? Because there was sound in the .avi form i had it previously.

Well my second problem is after i have both done and put into my software to make the dvd(TMPGEnc DVD Author 2.0 trial version) it almosts totals to 30 gigs...... Well can anyone explain to me why when i convert from .avi to mpeg2 it nearly quadruples the size....

Well if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advanced.
