Problem with aspect ratio in TMPGenc

Hey

Am using the "DVD to SVCD with TMPGenc" guide off this website, and am having a problem with the AR in TMPGenc.

Am following all the instructions, and when i set it to encode, the resulting MPG file plays fine, but when played full screen is kinda in letter box format, with a large black border around the entire thing. Instead of being full screen, wide screen as i'd expected.

The movie is Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang (DVD) and when i ran it through DVD2AVI it says it's 16:9/PAL/25fps. My laptop has a widescreen display, and have tried various combinations of the "Source Aspect Ratio" and "Video Arrange Method" within TMPGenc settings to no luck, everytime the same result.

Any suggestions? Cheers

On the setting screen, have the video set to 16:9
On the advanced screen, set it to "fullscreen, keep aspect ratio 2".
