Some Advice on XBOX 360 Warranty

I got my 360 at launch and used on a normal basis. I did not play hours a day but 8 hours a week. Well it started to have problems a week ago and I call M$. They told me I had 10 more days of warranty left. So I bought it in Nov 2005 and had a warranty until May 2006. A 6 month warranty not 90 days! I heard thet extened them because of the heat issues. Well when I was on the phone I asked about an offical warranty extension and I got a 2 year extension for $64.10. They said it covers all of my controllers, the HDD and the Network Adapter.

Today it crapped out. I get the three red lights or nothing!!! I called M$ and they will send be a box for free shipping and will have it back in about 10 days or less.

My advice is call and see if you still have warranty and if you can extened it. I know in 2007 they will be using a 65 nm core insted of the current 90 nm core. Which I think will run cooler. I have a feeling that I will be using my extended warranty again when the new cores are put in!!

sent mine in the 1st week with my 360. but now it works fine no need for another warrenty get 1 at gamestop they give you a brand new x360 and you keep your hd.
