Half Life 2 problem!!!!

I have bought half life 2 a couple of days ago installed in it and it was fine i loaded it and played it and everything worked well apart from at the end of near every scene like 5 minutes it would stop say node graph out of date, rebuilding but fater a while it became annoying it was doing it all the time then when i went to play it again after a while this menu first came up saying my cracked games and a list of half life, half life 2 and multiplayer and when i tried half life it worked but now when i play half life 2 none of the charaters move the enemys will not move just makes noises when i shoot them and the good guys don't move either so i can't complete the level its like i am invisible apart from that it runs ok no problem with graphics card or anything please help :)

I've seen that before a few times, try typing
ai_disable 1
in the console, it is supposed to help, not had the issue myself.

thanks mate it was just ai_disable but as soon as i typed it he attacked me and gave me a shock lol but what would have changed it? cheers :)

LMAO, I bet it did :-)

Not sure what could have changed it to be honest, quite a few people have expereinced it, so I can only assume it was one of the steam updates that modified it. It could only have affected certain setups, because I never had it and I know my mate didn't either. But it definately existed lol.

well i haven't updated the game lol it must be some kind of bug lol i have had to type it a few times but i am at least halfway through the game now if not more so cheers mate :)
