hi, i just read the forum messages and none sems to help me with my problem, i never had problems with viewing avi files with subtitles so i know i have the programs necessary to do it, but i downloaded an avi movie without subtitles and searched for the subtitles and found some but i noticed that the times are out of synch by opening the file. the subtitle is an srt and is on the same directory than the avi and with the same name but when i try to view the movie it doesn't work, the movie won't play, if i move the subtitle file to another directory the movie plays normally but without the subtitles of course.
i really could use some help
i tryed to edit the subtitles with subtitle workshop but when i load the movie and the subtitles the program just shuts down, it seems obviously to me that the subtitles don't work with this avi file but why is that? and what can i do fix this?
any help highly appreciated
