Hi

I am thinking of getting an X360, i have heard that the first Xbox had a problem onece you put a mod chip in it, you could not play Games on Live, even with Original copies. Becuase of the detection of the Live service detecting the mod chip and won`t allow you to play.
Now my question is, will this be in the X360 recent hack?
I am really looking forward to play games online but i don`t want to wreck it, by hacking it.

Then don't wreck it and pay for your games like an honest American. Pirates need to be shipped to Siberia and left for dead. Bottom line is this new hack is for pirates anyways

Not unless your the ones that got your xbox games scratced by the system. Then you will agree that everyone should be able to back up their own games.

If your drive scratched up your games and you didn't shake it or move it with the disk running then it is faulty and you are entitled to a replacement console and game/s.. The word is this hack CAN be detected and bans (or worse) will be handed out.. well said TT..this is a development hack, working towards a proper mod.. not for kids to pirate games and upload/download them on the torrents.

Yea I knew about that but I was just trying to lift the mood. It seems that all the talk about the 360 trying to get modified is making many problems.

I mean this is just me but I think we should do whaterver we want to the stuff we buy unless it really hurts many people. If you buy a cd I would like to back up that cd because I know my brothers would leave my cds scratched if I didn't have back up to give them.

But that is my 2 cents...
