Sup yall.I like the innovation of the new controller but like many of us I've played with a two handed gamepad all my life.

Do you all think that nintendo will release another controller for people like me?Or maybe a third party company?

The controller seems great in say a fps but I can think of instances where it would be awkward like sports games.

you can use two hands with the Wii mote plus the nunchuk accessory.

more classic controller that is a Wii accessory:

It also uses GCN controllers. Smash bros. brawl, for example, will be able to use gamecube controllers.

That rock's. I definitely want to give the remote some play time but for some games I just can't see it doing well.As far as two handed I meant the traditional "two hand's on one conroller type" rather than the nunchuck.I think that controller pictured is more for their virtual console games but gcn controller is fine for me.

Hey Tycobb - are you implying that the GCN controller will be compatible with the Wii? I loved that controller - hope thats the case...

Compatible in the sense that if developers really wanted to, they could just develop a game that uses the GCN controllers (or the classic controller) instead of the wii controller. But with games that use the wii mote, you can't substitute the GCN controllers in it's place.

Hope that answered your question. Since the Wii can play all GCN games, it has 4 GCN controller ports.

Smash Bros. Brawl is the only Wii title I know of that would use GCN controllers.

Thanks oofRome. That clears things up. If thats the case, then surely our memory cards will be compatible also, so we can used previous saved games. Do you know if the GBA Advance link-up cable will also be able to be used on the Wii?

I don't know about gba advance link up. I think most things compatible with the gamecube should be compatible with the wii. The only thing i've heard not working with the wii is the gameboy thing where you can play all your gameboy titles through the gamecube. I think you should be good. Memory cards definately work as well.

I have a question...when the Wii comes out...will they still sale gcn controllers? And gcn backups should work on the Wii when the Wii gets chipped or softmodded, right?

If I insult you...don't get offended...my insults are "friendly insults"...I know this sounds stupid (ridiculous) but I am fet up of writing, "no offense" in my posts...

My Comp: (will add specs later)

The controller you have pictured seems like a nice controller, but I figure since I already have two gc controllers why not use them. For the price nintendo charges for this system I think they should include both types instead of charging us extra for the accessory!
