What does the USB thing in SWAP MAGIC 3.6 exactly do??

Hi guys, I'm completely new to this forum, but it seems like a pretty helpful place!

Anyway, I just got a PS2 like 2 weeks ago, and got Swap Magic 3.6 in the mail today. I followed the tape and tissue mod, and burned MGS: Snake Eater on a less than desired media, but it works just fine... for now ;)

Anyway, I notice there's the whole "USB" support thing with this edition of SWAP MAGIC. What does it exactly do? Can it load Swap Magic straight from USB, by passing the disc? If it does, how do I go about to do it?

It allows you to boot off a USB device, such as a USB memory stick, a USB HDD. Ect..

there would be no point for it to boot Swap Magic as it loads swap magic then boots the file from USB, possibly even creating a loop where it reloads from USB....
Its used to load .ELF files from USB such as media players or file managers and stuff like that.
