i've got several small video's that i want to put on a disk and play in a dvd player but i dont know how to make a menu to choose the video. could i get some help with a very cheep or free solution. thanks

TMPGEnc Author 1.6 has fully functioning free trial. The 2.0 version has a somewhat limited free trial.

Nero's NeroVision also has a menu-making function. Nero has a fully function free trial as well.
