I got this trying to play back a downloaded MP4, or
so it was marked. Error came up in DIVx after
trying all my other players which just wouldn't load
it at all.

Any special meaning for this? I spelled it all correctly
but still not ver clear up there.

Well i have never heard of this error message beore. But have you tried opening it in GSpot to see what codec it is using / if you have the codec. Get GSpot here

GSpot doesn't support mp4's. I would suggest Media Info instead. Should be mp4v or avc1 though. Probably DivX is not the best player for mp4 files. I'd suggest Media Player Classic instead.
