i have been using dvd decrypter for ages now and never had this problem,well never had any problem with it.the decryption hangs on 13%due to Structure Protection, i have changed the settings for it to aggresive but still no joy.any idea's ,is there a better ripper that can cope with this?please help.

You can try the new DVDFabDecrypter with DVD43 if you want to stay with freeware but if you have some money go with AnyDVD and use the built in ripper it comes with.

Go with dvdfab decrypter (free ripper still updated) or AnyDVD (21 day free trial) as DVDBack23 suggested.
You can run AnyDVD in the background w/ Shrink.
If using it with Decrypter change these settings:
I/O tab > interface - either SPTI or ElbyCDIO should be checked
General tab - uncheck 'check for structure protection'
CSS tab - CSS Cracking Method check 'none'.
DVD43 can conflict w/ Decrypter or DVDFab Decrypter.
