I have a question dealing with the 360 and streaming data via a wireless network. I have the ability to access xbox live through my wireless network, but when trying to connect to my pc to stream media I keep getting a failed during the compurter connection portion of the media connection test. I have tried everything I can think of and don't know what to do about it. I read some faq on the microsoft troubleshooting site and saw something about needing to use a wrt55a router (I think) as apposed to the wrt54g router I currently have to help overcome any negative factors steming from interference. If this is the case it absolutely bites as I just purchased this router not long ago to network my home computers and now after spending the 400 plus dollars to get the 360 I may need to spend more to allow everything my home to mesh. If anyone knows any hints or tips that may help I would greatly appreciate it. I tried linking in via the wireless router and through DHCP and also through static, but nothing seemed to work. I know very little about computers, so it may be something simple I have not done as I have my original xbox linked through DHCP and can stream media. However I would rather use the 360 if possible as the media center. Thanks for any help anyone can lend in this matter.
