is there anyone out there that can help me or have been able to play nba live 06 for xbox on a xbox 360..an internet site tells me they dont have it work becuase 360 has the same game, so the regular xbox game does not work...if there is a thread sorry i didnt find it and please direct me to it...and if not hope someone has an answer...i just think its dumb because the 360 should be able to play ALL xbox games. no matter if they make the same one for xbox and 360..thanks for anyone that helps..i really appreciate it

It's not backwards compatible, so it's not gonna work. Games with releases on both systems aren't BC because they want to get the 360 specific version. This isn't always the case, though, some games aren't BC because they were designed specifically for the Xbox and since the 360 has different hardware, it's not always possible to make it BC. This is more likely the case with Live 06 because a lot of EA's sports games aren't BC. Hopefully you kept your Xbox.

yeh i kept it...i have it modded..so i cant back it up on my harddrive but that is fine..i just figured it would be nice to play live with it and download the newer rosters
but you cant really go live with a modded box..or at least i cant go with mine..
