Ok, so I must admit that I am a bit disgusted that I am unable to solve this problem on my own. Currently, my NAT status shows as "NAT OK?" and on rare occasions, I have seen it move to the "OK" status. However, this does not last long and my download speeds to not increase during this time. I have never seen the DHT status as "OK". Version of Azureus is 2.4.0.2.
I have tried everything under the sun aside from plugging my computer directly into the cable modem (which really isn't an option as other devices need connectivity). My router is a US Robotics USR8054 /w current firmware and the PC in question is accessing the network via WiFi. I have not tried plugging directly into the router with a cat5 cable. Port forwarding was configured with no luck. I then setup my PC as the DMZ host. This should resolve any issue concerning port forwarding as my PC is completely exposed to everything...no luck! I know the DMZ is functioning as it should because I setup a test FTP server on my PC and I am able to successfully connect to the external IP address. Default Azureus ports have been changed as recommended. I have tried disabling Windows Firewall and do not run any other security products. The only good news is UPnP seems to be working as it should because I see ports added into my router firewall rules...not that this would matter after setting my PC as the DMZ host.
I just recently moved to Costa Rica from the US and, while I do realize the network configurations are completely different, the software did work before I left. I am only including this information because I have seen some posts stating that wiping the computer and reloading everything solved the problem. Could this be a problem with my new ISP?
