Hi guys,

Sorry about this, coz im sure the answer is around somewhere.

I have just bought a 76cm widescreen, and it has s-vid inputs.

I have a GeForce FX5200 - WinFast A340TD card, which has s-vid out.

My card came with the s-vid to composite adaptor, however, i can't get my tv to recognise anything. All seems to be connected, and i've gone thru my Nvidia settings (clone etc) but nothing

The only thing i can think of is that when i click device settings my only options are select tv format and primary display. I read somewhere that i should be able to click device settings, output device and tv. But i cant find it.

Am I missing something??

Any help is HIGHLY appreciated guys.

Thanks in advanced,

from a newb

Hey SypherTek,
Yeah tried that. :s

not sure if it makes a difference, but at the time i was trying to connect it, my brother was playing the xbox. I unplugged the cord he was using, and replaced it with the one i was trying to connect with, leaving the 2 audio from the xbox connected.

Surely this wouldn't stop it from working???

Im really baffled guys, lol, I thought this was supposed to be easy :P

if your tv has a direct s-video input it may have a channel dedicated for s-video (doubtful) if your using a scart adapter these sometimes have an in or out switch make sure its set to in,

also make sure that youve set your graphics card to be on the correct TV region (PAL, NTSC etc)

It is also possible that your TV has multiple video channels (video1, video2, etc.) Make sure you try them all. Also be sure to go to your video card settings on your pc and tell it to use mulitple displays (desktop > right click > properties > settings)

Let us know if it works,
Scott
