Ritek DOUBLE-SIDED 1X 9.4GB DVD-R
Generation 3 (RITEKG03) General Purpose

These Double-sided DVD-R's are recordable on BOTH SIDES
(4.7gb each side), yielding a 9.4GB recording capacity (240 minutes)!

Note: Since both sides of the double-sided DVD-R are recordable
there isn't a surface suitable for labeling or marking.

This high quality DOUBLE-SIDED 1X/2X DVD-R media is manufactured by Ritek (RITEKG03 media) for DVD recorders that use the General Purpose type of DVD-R media such as the Pioneer A03/A04/A05, Pioneer 2000, Pioneer DVR-7000/9000, Panasonic DMR-E20/E30, Panasonic HS2, Panasonic LF-D311, Sony DRU500a and the DVD Recorders found in Apple G4 Superdrives and Compaq Presario 7000 computers. These discs are also compatible with the Sony PS2 and X-Box.

This is a 1X disc that is known to work well on some
DVD recorders at 2X with certain firmware updates.
For other recorders the disc will work at 1X recording.

For the Pioneer A03/103, Pioneer A04/104 and the Sony DRU-500
you can achieve stable 2X recording speed by using updated firmware.

To achieve 2X recording on the Sony DRU-500
download updated firmware from

To achieve 2X recording on the Pioneer A03/103
download updated firmware from

To achieve 2X recording on the Pioneer A04/104
download firmware version 1.31 from

For the Pioneer recorders more recent updates may
be available should you prefer to use them.

These discs work at 1X recording speed on the Pioneer A05/105.
At this time we do not know of any firmware upate to make these
discs record at 2X on the A05/105 DVD recorder.

WARNING: Upgrading the firmware of your DVD recorder is for advanced users only. Bad flashing of your recorders firmware could destroy your drive. Also, use of unofficial firmware updates may render your warranty invalid. If you decide to go ahead with updating your firmware then make sure that you read carefully the installation notes of your firmware BEFORE you upgrade. Firmware changes are made at your own risk and we cannot offer any support for firmware upgrades.

These discs are available individually in slimline jewel cases or as a shrink-wrapped stack of 25 discs (no storage tub). If you require jewel cases or DVD cases these are available for purchase seperately here.
