Anyone know anything about Mini-X?

I have evox installed on my Xbox but none of the features work. I can't play audio cd's or dvd's. I opened my Xbox and found that one of the wires on the Mini-X modchip was loose. All the wires on the chip are solid but on the motherboard the wire which goes on the left side of the soldering point, 3rd spot down, the wire is loose. It is just laying there. I have found pics that show the wire soldered on the motherboard. Is there some reason it is laying there or is it suppose to be soldered to the motherboard? If so, is this the reason my dvd player doesn't work and I can't play audio cd's? All i can do is play backups and original games but I have to insert the game and reboot. I can not launch games from the menu.

Is the loose wire the problem or do I need to reinstall EvoX? I have downloaded Slayers Auto installer and am thinking about using it. Please help.


I bought the Xbox pre-modded to play homebrew apps and emulators, that is why I am asking about the loose wire.
