problem with the file video_ts.vob?

i removed unwanted stuff from my dvd with dvdremake...then i was gonna shrink the movie a little sit would fit a DVD5. But dvdshrink gives me an error saying unable to open video_ts.vob How can i dix this file or create a new one?

Create a new one and remove the unwanted stuff with VobBlanker.

first when using DVDRemake I would check out the output to make sure that your DVD structure wasn't changed enough that makes your movie inoperable. I know when I first started taking out unwanted stuff from the movie, with Remake, I accidently changed the DVD structure to make the movie inoperable. This could be your problem when you tried to use Shrink next. That's why the error message.

After exporting the movie from Remake I try playing it on the computer to make sure I didn't screw anything up. If the movie plays and there are no errors then I use my next program to fit onto a DVD-5. If it plays on the hard drive then it will be ok in Shrink!

Yeah thats what i did, not sure why but i changed the dvd structure so thats what happened. I tried the same movie over again and it worked just fine when i didnt screw up hehe :p

But how do i play the dvd before i run it through shrink or any other program? do i just open video_ts.VOB with powerdvd or any other program?

depends on what version of PowerDVD you have.... I use it, ver 7...it will play anything and everything.
