what game are u trying to burn. All ps2 games should be put on cd-rs, while the vast majority of ps2 games belong on dvds(although u can convert them to dvd if u wanted to.)What game r u backing up?

CD??

If you want to burn a game, obviously you want to BURN it. Use something like Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim DVD-R 8x, they are rated as the best DVDs around.

yes dan, u well know i meant ps1 games, saw this post while in a rush, apologize for the confusion. And yes, u also know cd based games can be converted to being readable on dvd, especially when u have crap imation cd-rs like me i beleive u offered a lenghy link for me the other day!!! Take it easy dan, lots of flaming goin round laetely, dont want to get it started with some1 i respect;)

As for burning ps1 game, using Nero,

1.Use cd-rom (ISO)
2.Click no-mulitsession
3.Burn at 4x, 8x is also acceptable with cd-rs, and use the disk-at-once wite method.

Burning games is not rocket science. I use Nero 7.0.1.2 with absolutely no problems.

Lol, yeah just trying to tease you svtstang :)

@hotwir379
I think you'll have more luck posting that in the nero forum... unfortunately people here won't know as much about the technical side of things as those people over there do :(

You could also try Alcohol 120%, get the trial version, then do:
1) Image Burning Wizard
2) Select the image file, press Next
3) Under Datatype, select Play Station, then press Start

@Dan

I understand u didnt not mean anything, i was a bit pissed off when i posted that last 1, was in a flame war with some fanboys, let them get under my skin;)

Dan is right, I do not know how Nero works, I just know how to use it to create backups. If u have any questions, ill of course do my best to answer them, as well will Dan:)
