I just got my 360 today but i forgot to pick up a memroy card and i got far on call of duty but cant save...can i use a flash driveas a memry card or do i have to have the real one?

just out of curiousity, did you get the cheaper version?
If I insult you...don't get offended...my insults are "friendly insults"...I know this sounds stupid (ridiculous) but I am fet up of writing, "no offense" in my posts...

I don't know much about 360's but I would get a 80 gb (comp hdd) since they are cheap and put one in the 360...(I think there is no need to open the console to do that) and I am not sure if a comp hdd will work on 360...I am just giving you innexpensive ideas...ask for someone else's help if you actually want to carry this on...
But assuming that you don't want any hdd's period, I think you should get a 128-512 MB flash drive (if you're only going to use it for game saves)
And if your question was is it possible for flash drive (I think that was your main question) then ya, it is, however not all work...I read this somewhere on the internet... I'll do a quick search for you...

no flash drives work and no hdd works with xbox 360...

you cant plug in a usb external flash drive and use anything in it except music or pics. you cant even watch movies if there's any on it. the only way is to buy an official microsoft xbox 360 hdd or the official microsoft xbox 360 memory card. there isnt even a hack for modded 360s that lets you do those things you mentioned.
