Ive been trying to do this for the last five hours and still no luck.

These are my materials
A crossover cable
Two ethernet ports
A modem

The crossover cable goes from the 360 to the back of the PC into a NIC, then it has another NIC with an ethernet cable going to the Cable Modem. This is what I did next.

I went to my Xbox connection and changed the TCP/IP to
IP address 192.168.0.1
Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0

Then I clicked ok, I then bridged both my internet and xbox connections.

I turn on my 360 go to the dashboard and test the connections it fails when it checks the IP, what am I doing wrong? Thank you for your time.

Yeah they pretty much told me. We can only help you with things that we know how to do. Since that is not surely a way to make it work we wont help you and we will also be rude.

Ok this is what you do

1. Unbridge the connections that you have bridged for starters
2. Connect the modem to your pc via the network card you normally use
3 Check you can access the internet
4. Connect your xbox to your pc via the crossover cable and ethernet port on the other network card (Do not switch on the x360)
5. Go into the control panel on windows xp and select network connection
6. Right click on the local area connection that is used to access the internet on the pc and select properties.
7. On the top of the screen you should see an icon tab labeled advanced click it
8. You should now see a screen with 2 little boxes that will let you share your internet connection
9 Tick the boxes
10 The boxes should now have a little green tick in each one
11. Click on the ok option at the bottom of the screen
12 Switch on your 360 and you should now be able to use live

PS. If you have a modem that supports usb as well as ethernet you could follow the same steps except connect your pc to the modem using usb instead of ethernet and it would let you free up one of your ethernet cards.

Happy Gaming

Damn, No Cigar. For the Xbox Connection do I need to have the TCP/IP set to obtain the IP address and DNS Servers to Automatic? Or do I need to manually type some addresses down?

Thanks again.
