Error 21 unmoded xbox---chip fix?

my friend has an unmodded never attempted to mod xbox that is giving an error 21 now i have been told since it has never been modded the error 21 is not fixable.

now if there is a way i would be extremly interested in knowing how, so if you know post sumtin (it will need to be detailed)

on the other hand if it is not fixable via hotswap method or other ways would a chip of some kind be able to fix it.

any info whatsoever on this subjet would be really appreciated so thanks in advance.

Yes a chip will fix the issue get the spiderchip or hyperX they are pretty cheap, once installed you'll wanna softmod the Xbox and then remove the chip.

Another cheap chip I would reccomend (I personaly have this in my xbox) is the duox 2 http://www.divineo.com/cgi-bin/div-us/dd-xb-duox2cr
install the chip and reinstall everything using an Auto Installer.

and what is this auto installer and where can i get it (if you cant post that just pm me)

i will need something that is quick easy and solderless if there is such a thing to fix a problem like this

and if this will work could one of ou more experienced guys take me through a step by step

no thats cool i prolly wont be around in the morning so if you just want to pm the info that would be fine.

since i am looking for something that is solderless i think that i am going to go with the HyperX chip.

are all of them basically the same after you get them installed?

basically i will need to now how to install them (unless they come with a manual) and then how to do the auto-installer bit.
this box that i am talking about will not load anything but to the error 21 screen right off the bat after it gets done with the initial Miscro$oft loading part. just so you know

thekingo7 as I posted my response I thought to myself that you would never let me get away with recommending that Spiderchip because I know how you dislike it, but it serves a purpose its by far the easiest solderless chip to install. Only 1 wire to the d0 point on Xbox versions 1.0-1.5, and merely installing one will recover you from any software error, its like an Xbox repair that only costs $20.

ok well once you have the chip installed then where do you go from therei mean do you have to keep it in there or do you take it out after it fixes the problem

is there a guide or whatever that will come with it that will walk me through the steps i need to go through

Srry guys I was super wiped last night(I actually fell asleep while in the shower) anyway once you have bought this hyperx chip you first install it (duh) http://www.hyperxmod.com/downloads/hyperx_installation.pdf
after you have done this if you are going the shademand route by installing a softmod and then removing the chip, I'm pretty sure you jsut start up the modchip and then ftp his files over, if you are planning on keeping the chip in the box, you should get auto-installer deluxe 3.0 http://www.mininova.org/tor/216226 and install either an M$ dashboard and leave it, or install a hacked dash and then all the apps you want.
btw thankyou shademand for not reccomending it, as for the solderless solution that hyperx looks much sturdier than the spider. I would go with that selection.
