I can't seem to get my back ups top work? Have burned using DVD Decrypter, Clone cd and Nero but have so far have tried 6 different games which seem to have burned to disc ok but do not work on my Xtreme firmware 360. Is there a problem with the Nec 4550a ? Or am I doing something wrong.
Also would ntsc backups work on pal ?
Thanks
darren

don't use DVD Decrypter.
use clone cd.
i asume you are doing the dvd swap method.
Are you merging your ss bin files with your iso?
If so are you using the .dvd file created from the merging to burn in cloneCD?
Did you use dvdinfo to set your bitsetting?
are you burning on a DVD+R DL?

when you get the .iso file you need to open it in ss merger 1.5o, then open the .bin file. click merge.
this will create a .dvd file in the same dir as your .iso file.
now download dvdinfo.
*********************************************
BITSETTING:
Now use DVDinfo to change your drive to dvd-rom:
"To set the booktype in DVDInfoPro:
Start DVDInfoPro
Click on the ?+RW? icon on the top row
Select DVD-ROM Press button marked "Change +RDL Mode"
Press Close
Now whenever a DVD+R DL is burned it will be bitset to read like a DVD-ROM.
*********************************************
now use clone cd to burn the .dvd file.

also be sure to update your nic 4550a firmware, as only the newest firmware supports bit setting.

you cant set your bitsetting?
bitsetting means changing the booktype, they are equivalent.
use dvdinfo and find out how, search other forums if you want a better detailed tutorial.
don't continue until you do this.
