Perhaps there could be a search in every persons' profile page which shows up all the user's previous posts. This would be useful not just for the user him/her-self, but also others wanting to see what general advice a particularly knowledgable person might have given... I dont know how much this would strain the database, but Ive seen it on a couple of other forums, one of which I personally knew the creator of, and that one definitely did not have a very powerful database.
