i have some games that are in pal form .my ps2 is in ntsc ,is there a good patcher that will turn the games into ntsc.i have 1 but dont know if i a m doing it the correct way

It actually depends on what games you are trying to convert. I had an iso of Killzone PAL, and I used PAL2NTSC patcher to patch it, and the game wouldn't load. So, I burned another copy without patching the iso. I loaded up the game with swap disk, and there was an option to change the video mode from PAL to NTSC, so that's that.
But, most PAL games do require patching it. After you browse the iso, you should set the Y-axis to 48, which is the default. That's the only thing you need to do to patch it.

what program ? please tell me
i have 2 pal games( iso files )that i would like to make them into ntsc.tried burning them as pal and they wont work.my ps2 is in ntsc format i would say.

i try to patch spy vs spy pal and get this i think this bo.means it cannot be done ........

well it says you are trying to use a compressed file.
Is it? or is it an ISO file.
I have never used a patching program so i hope someone can help.
do you have an image of the file you trying to patch.

well at 4.18 it surely is not compressed.
But why does it say as type that it is a CD-Rom image? No file that big is a CD-Rom image. Then again it could just be how that program labels them all. I am going to ask around and see if anyone knows what that message means.

Well, I don't know too much about patching, but all that patcher does for you is modify the elf file of the iso. I think your elf file alone, not the whole iso, is compressed which might be causing the problem. You might have to download a different version of the game, but you could always ask around since I'm no expert.

why in the world do they even bother to make PAL versions
they should just make 1 NTSC it would be alot easier

Hey can some help me wiv this. I've tried so many times using this patcher and has never worked once on a game and doesn't matter what game it is its never worked. All keep gettin is frick'in black screen grr.
