Okay this idea is the stupidest thing ever. First a motion sensitive controller or should I say remote. The Xbox 360 and PS3's controller are way better and have more appealling games like Halo 3, Tekken 6, etc.
What does the Wii have Super Smash Bros. that's it. Expect Nintendo to go bankrupt really soon unless the pull out something like a GTA or Gran Turismo game.
GTA RULEZ!!!!! NO OTHER GAME SERIES HAS AS MUCH CONTERVERSY AS GTA.

Well they have the most successful franchise ever, mario, making his way onto the Wii in mario galaxy. Rumor has it that this was the long awaited "mario 128".
Zelda: Twilight Princess will also be a launch title.
Games that I'm the most interested thus far:
Super Smash Bros: Brawl
Metroid Prime 3: Corruption
I'd like to see more of Disaster: Day of Crisis and Project HAMMER, nintendo's new IP.
Madden 07 and/or Blitz. I plan on trying out both of these and seeing which one is more fun
Call of Duty 3: Airborne
And the new Resident Evil coming to the wii.
Hopefully wii sports will be in a bundle. I thought it looked sort of silly, but it got the game critic award for best sports game, so who knows.
WHat I would really like to come is a solid, multiplayer fps.

Games are a matter of taste. Not all of us like Halo, Tekken, or even GTA for that matter. I like platformers, RPGs, and RTS much more than the latest shooter or beat-em-up. I could care less whether a game is controversial or even deemed kiddy as long as it's fun to play. I liked the open ended gameplay aspect of GTA, but would rather be playing a hero in Morrowind or Oblivion if I wanted open ended gameplay than being a "gangsta" in GTA.
I am looking forward to Metroid Prime 3, the new Zelda, Dragon Quest, Super Monkey Ball, Mario Galaxies, and Wii Sports on the Wii. On the Xbox 360 I really want to play Mass Effect and Bioshock when they come out. Of course since I am into platformers I can't wait to see the new Ratchet and Clank offering on the PS3 either.

When I see flame fights, I feel like I am watching a movie...lol
But my point really in this message is why can't people just ignore these things...I love Nintendo's Wii console very much and I don't go yelling at GTAteen for example things like "You f***cking a**hole!" (no offense to GTAteen (I am just using you as an example))
If I insult you...don't get offended...my insults are "friendly insults"...I know this sounds stupid (ridiculous) but I am fet up of writing, "no offense" in my posts...

btw the ps3 controller is the same thing as the ps2 which was a ripoff of the snes/n64 controllers and now that they put the motion tracking its a ripoff of the Wii remote. Nintendo is just out there to bring back the gameplay aspect of video gaming, not the make the most diverse/powerful machine on the planet (and btw u can make a decent comp that will do more (and better in some cases) than a ps3 will).
Microsoft did the right thing with the 360, sony fudged up, and nintendo will come out on top.

GTAteen the PS3 is the biggest joke since PS1, lets take a moment to reflect on what SONY have done that will most likely rid them from the console wars for good.
A £425 console!
They have lied endlessly to even there fans, copied/ripped off Nintendo's ideas since day one, If Sony were all powerful and great they would be so embarrassed to be working on the PS3 right now and coming up with there own ideas.
GTA is the ONLY reason why PS dose any good but Rock star will see £425 console and move to M$ platform or Nintendo console maybe they will go PC only because they know there game is not worth spending £600 on.
Oh yea your not allowed to sell your pre-owned games, there also trying to push the price of there games up because there losing so much money on the console.
Oh and Nintendo intend on not losing money on there console they also have a massive free online multiplayer service, and the Nintendo DS and the GBA, Nintendo will not be losing profits anytime soon most likely that SONY will be as there losing so many fans this year me I was interested in the PS3 but not anymore SONY have lost me as one of there gamers.

The way that the Wiimote works is amazing. Zelda and Red Steel, watch the videos and it is amazing what can be done.

Hell Yeah! Red Steel looks mad :D - honestly GTAteen, why start a negative thread like this? Your thread doesn't even pose a question - only a biased viewpoint. YOU think only one game is appealing whereas WII (lol sorry guys I had too) might like a few more (Zelda, Mario, Metroid, Red Steel, Sonic - by the way 4 are exclusive to Nintendo). I'm sick of people starting threads that are likely to irritate people - your opinion doesn't count for everybody dude, and Nintendo isn't gonna go bankrupt because you don't like their console, or it's controller, or because you think they will.

But let me get this straight. The graphics will be good but what I'm saying is the games (with the exception of Red Steel) are just strings of games. Don't get me wrong I am Zelda and Mario fan but I think if the wii doesn't have some other games like Red Steel or games like Halo that are only avalible for it then they will lose the console war plain and simple. Being a video game fan I think that there has to be at least one crooked person from Nintendo, Microsoft, and Sony that shares idea's but Nintendo shows the motion sensitive controller. If you think Sony copys off of ideas look how Microsoft is going to make a motion sensitive controller. Look in magazines online or just wait because you will see them

MS had the motions sensing controller before all these fellas.I was on the PC in 1998 it was called the sidewinder or some nonsense like that.i'll provide the link if you feel the need to question me buddy

a lot more 3rd party companies are looking at the Wii because they want to see what there games will be like with the Wiimote. So expect a lot more on the wii than the gamecube had.

Aren't Zelda Mario and all the above exclusives for Nintendo? Yes they are, and they were the sole reason I bought a GameCube, just as Halo was a selling point for Xbox and will be for 360. People buy Nintendo for the inhouse games - as they do for MS; Sony would be the one with the lack of in-house games - I mean sooner or later games like MGS get released on other platforms, does that mean Sony is in trouble? Now Nintendo has the selling point of good exclusive games like Zelda etc and a unique controller. I guess I'm just not sure what you're talking about when you say they are just strings of games - so is Gran Turismo 5 and so is Project Gotham 3 and Halo 3 and the list goes on... And Dnglebery you're correct the Sidewinder pad with motion sensor technology was the first (or one of the first anyway) of it's kind. Nintendo are the first ones to use this technology to such an extent on a console though - can someone prove me wrong because I'm only assuming this to be true.
