SM is pressed just like any game for the ps2, so backing it up means u have to have a way to load it, just like any backed up game.

In short, no. When u back up pressed disks, their is a section of data that is encrypted and is needed to be on the disk thats allows it to boot like an original copy. Since it is encrypted, it cannot be copied. Before i knew anything about mod chips and SM, and i tried to copy the files and manipulate them to work as if they work like he original, and after a lot of trying, i quit. Just doesnt work. Might at well buy another set of SM, if u search around, u can find a set for around $20.

svtstang is correct. You can copy it all you want but it will never load up like the original. You would still need an original copy of Swap Magic to load it. The company was smart. If you could just copy it then it would be all over the torrent sites and no one would buy it.
