Im trying to backup demolition girl by converting it to a DVD.

I have extracted the files from the disc, and patched them for dvdR but the game will not boot with swap magic 3.6, however the entire game seems to only be about 3-4 meg. I was thinking perhaps i need to add a dummy file but i am unsure how to do this.

Could anyone offer any help?

I know it sounds hard to belive... Heres whats on the cd:

\data (594kb)
sles (3033kb)
system (1kb)

I just tried adding a dummy file (1 gig) to the iso using the method in the link you posted and still no luck.

Hmm, I just saw a Demolition Girl ISO file, and that file's over 250mb... I suggest that you double check again... how did you extract the files?

I just extracted them with isobuster like usual. Opening the cd with explorer showed the same files. Maybe the iso has a dummy file or something on it?

I might just try and look for the iso, itd probobly be easier than fiddling around with this :P

Even with dummy files, I still don't believe that a PS2 game can be a few mb... How big is the CD when you put it in the CD drive?

Looking for an image file can also work... you can find it easily using bittorrent

the properties of the drive say its 750 odd meg, but if i just select all the files it says 3 meg or so.

750mb sounds a lot more realistic than a few mb... I don't have the game so I'm not sure what's wrong when you extract it, but I guess if you really can't extract it properly downloading that image file might be a quicker way to go
