how can i make it one file so i can put it on my ipod???

dude go to google and type in download fair use , its a great free program that will take your dvd's and convert them to whatever format you need , including mp4 .
i use AnyDVD and dvddecrypter to rip to a iso then open the iso with fair use and let the wizard do the rest , just direct to convert in mp4 format and tick go , thats it .

and waite till you see your finale video , youll swear the movie is still in its origanele format lol , its that awsome !!

btw , you can load those files the way they sit into fair use and convert to the desired format .

I think if no software to combine your mp4 files one by one, you will have to rip your DVD again. Just to one MPEG-4 file.
