Hello All

I'm having a big problem with making backups of my PS2 games, i have all the needed stuff to do it:
1x Sony DVD burner
1x DVD decrypter
Some PS2 games, been useing Gran Turismo 3 and Tony Hawks american wasteland just at the minute
Some Blank DVD's been useing 3 different types, been useing Bulk Paq, One and rivision ones.
I've following the steps on how to do it, by useing DVD decrypter, and the games copys on to my pc all fine, then i burn it and that is fine. But when i put it in my Chipped PS2 it goes back to the part where you borwse your memory card, other backups that someone else made for me before i got my dvd burner work fine, but none of mine have works so far, and to be honest have not got a clue on why.

yes i do, i've been doing that for the past few days, and i went in to my local IT shop and spoken to the owner myself, and he recommed these dvd him self also my girlfriends dad that has backup some PS2 games in the past used these dvd and they worked totaly fine for him.

which of these were recommended "Bulk Paq, One and rivision"
u need good quality discs and none of those are really, u really are better off buyin verbatims or taiyo yudens, plus the better media will save on ur laser in the long run, also most ps2's read -r better than +r

have you actually tried making a backup of a game with better quality discs? Why dont you try making the backup on a Verbatim disc and see if that works. If it doesn't then the problem lies somewhere else, not with the quality of your media. I have been using Bulkpaq DVD+R for my ps2 backups and they work fine. Havn't had a single prob so far

Rivision = DVD -R 16x
Bulk Paw = DVD -R 8x
One = DVD DVD -R 4x

Setting them to write at 4 speed because that was the kind of middle ground i thought.

hey guys. I am new to this site. i just have one question.i have a modded ps2 and i download games from torrents and they work on my ps2. but i have to restart my ps2 a lot of times, then the game works. i am using the program dvd decryptor and i am using a sony DVD-R and i am burning at 4x speed, though my dvd is 8x. So i was wondering if anyone can help me please, asap.
