edit stuff that you have recorded from video to the DVD recorder on the PC? and can it be done?

because when i am recording something with my DVD recorder and it's near the end on the DVD +RW it stops the recording and when i go into menu on the DVD recorder i cannot delete the incomplete clip, is there any software that i can use on the PC to delete parts on a DVD +RW? without me having to erase the whole DVD again and starting from the very beginning again grrrr.

I think intervideo windvd creator has an option to edit a dvd disc, but im not sure it if rips it edits it then puts it back or how it does it, so you might want to give it a try.
