I have an mpeg audio file I want to convert to mp3 so I can burn it on cd and listen to it on a normal householf cd player. Anybody know a good program to do this?

Goldwave. It's the most awsome program. You can convert any audio file possible to a mp3 if you download it in conjunction with Lame. I have a zipped file of Goldwave if you want me to email it to you?

Goldwave is not freeware. If you want this place to stay online and to stay here as member yourself please make sure you don't do things that smell like piracy in this forum. Links to official download locations of goldwave (and Lame) would have been much better.
