Is there a way to download game demo on your computer and then put them on a disc or something to transfer the demo to the 360? Also, I got on Marketplace for a couple of minutes and the game demo downloads were painfully slow... is there something wrong with my connection?

No way to do transfer games to your pc then to the xbox live. if your connection is going slow check into it, is your pc slow? hows it hooked up? wireless? wired? etc. Thats the tough problems with networking, so many variables. Give us the details and we'll see if we can help further.

another thing is what type of connection you have, it could affect the speed of your demo download, since some of them are rather big...what demo are you trying to download, also, like tweeder said, there is noway to burn and transfer, but u could buy OXM demos are on that thing all the time.

thanks for the responses.....
I am connecting DIRECTLY to my Comcast router. I really dont know how fast my internet is running, b/c my 360 is the only thing hooked up. I would hook up both, but my router wont work with the 360 :(
I was downloading the demos to Full Auto, FIFA Soccer, GRAW (I know...I need to f*****g buy it!)

Hmm, xbox is the only thing hooked up, thats very weird. Hook up your PC and run a speed test at the many sites out there, (google "speed test") and check the speed, if its low, I'd suggest calling comcast. Your speed should be decent if its the only thing hooked up.

The speed should be really good. I took a speed test, and it told me that I was downloading at 1612 kbps! (Wait....I think that is good)
Thanks again for the help

I'm stuck, I have no idea what it could be, your getting excellent speed from the PC, but not XBox. Any other member suggestions?

thanks for trying to help. I think I might have done something, that made it work a lot faster. When I connected my comcast router to the 360, I reset the router and the 360 acouple of times after successful log-ons. (restart comcast, restart 360 3 times) I dont know what that could have possibly done, but I am downloading much quicker.
I have one more question though. I want to get wireless access for my 360. but I dont want to pay the 99.99 bones for the 360 wireless adapter. Are there any other adapters that will work? Thanks again for all the help!

1612 kbps is terrible. that is why the demos go slow. I get about 12000 with my internet and it takes about 30-40 min to download hitman demo
kbps = kilobits per second... 1612 kb/s is 200kB/s and thats the max your connection is capable of. If you have cable it should be much much higher.

but that depends, because w/ cable u can choose ur speed, i used to have 1.5MB/s but then my isp dropped 1.5MB/s and i have 3MB/s now cuz that's what they offer. but you can get slower, i forget what the slowest my isp offers, but it's a joke really.

Yeah, theres a universal game adapter that linksys sells. not sure about the price honestly, I own it but can't remember what I paid for it. Its a wireless B adapter that goes right into your network port for xbox. Check linksys.com

I looked in to that, and there were a few that were 99.99 (just like the xbox licensed adaptor) I have a discount at best buy, so I can get the licensed adapter for a little cheaper. Thanks again for all your help and input :D
