Hey. Dunno if I posted this in the wrong section or not but anyway it´s about PS2 booting so I think it´s alright.

Can I use SwapMagic 3.6 to boot Breaker Pro and then boot my PS1 game?
Do I need to change some things like the Toc Size or rebuild it or something?

By the way, I wanted to know if FinalFantasyVII (3 cd´s I think) has no problems with Breaker Pro or if it needs rebuiling? Since it has 3 cd´s does it need some kind of special patch or something?

SM and the breaker pro combo will work fine for booting ps1 game. U do not to rebuild anything. With regards to FF7, u will be fine, because at the end of each disk u have the option to save. So save, rboot breaker pro, then start playing the new disk:)

Only time u have to rebuild using SM is on ps2 games with a TOC size of 4.35 gigs and up, as well as DVD-9 games.

I would stick with Nero. Also, the burner is not a big deal, although the medai u use is. Stay far, far away for imation, memroex, office max and other brands such as these. Media like that will cause ur laser to die a quick death.

I normally use Verbatim and TDK for DVD´s I just didn't know what to use for CD´s. I have some EMTEC CD-R's. Do you think they are cool? I usually use them for Genesis/MegaDrive roms and they work good. Will they harm the laser or something?

Its just a suggestion, but i would stay away form EMETC, at least when using it as media for ur ps2. The ps2 is very picky, and will crap out on u if it doesnt like the media u r using. U obviously know what media to use for DVD's, so stick to those brands when chosing cd-rs and u will be fine.

umm I just tried booting breaker pro with swapmagic, but it says Not a valid PS2 disc.. Isn´t Breaker Pro a PS1 game, if it is there is no way i could boot it.

breaker pro is not a ps1 game, its is a loader that allows u to play ps1 games.

yeah, but I saw in the official website that it works in PSOne. If it does it is because it is a PSOne based game. I would need the original Breaker Pro to boot Braker Pro... if you know what I mean. xD
Well, anyway it doesn´t work. Do you think I need to burn it in a DVD or something. Maybe I downloaded the wrong Breaker Pro. Mine has 698.99 megabytes (i think) and it has 3 files inside the .ISO (System, Dummy and another one I don´t know). Is this the right one?

Ur problem is that u downloaded it. Thats just dling SM and trying to get a backup to work, it wont. U can try booting it with an original copy of SM, then try the ps1 game, but i kinda doubt it will work.
