PAL torrents. play on usa ps2??

if i d/l a torrent that says its PAL, will i be able to play it on a ntsc american ps2? i kno the Mhz is different, but will it have the option to test settings and change the Mhz? if they wont work, can someone tell me where i can find a lot of PS2 torrents that are usa ntsc. thnx

it shud work m8, especially if u have a modchip, and if not u can always get the pal2ntsc patcher to patch the game

shauntay does the swap magic force a PAL game into NTSC, and if it does, does it work good?

if you use Swap Magic it will play either PAL or NTSC by switching the video mode on the main screen. But when playing games that are not from your region, like PAL on an NTSC system, there will be a little screen cut off from the conversion. That is if you TV can support both formats, if not then you are out of luck without buying a converter or something.

PALtoNTSC patcher is another option. I do not know if this causes any screen cut off as i have never needed to use it.

Then there are good modchips which will have no problem playing pretty much any game you thor it's way. And will have no screen cut off.

there you go. the program they have will convert it either way
PALtoNTSC or NTSCtoPAL
lots of outher usefull downloads as well.

I converted a F1 game and a little bit was cut off with the Pal2NTSC program.

Personally I'm not a big fan of converting:
1) too much effort
2) not guaranteed to work 100%

Some of the solutions (which cost money) are:
1) Get a SCART cable for your PS2
2) Get a signal converter
3) Get a TV that supports NTSC/PAL
