Hi there, i have xbox v1.1 and just installed ALADDIN advance modchip. It was working fine till i decided to upgrade my HDD to 200GB. my old HDD wich came with xbox is not working at all ( I droped it ) and now its gone kookoo.
is there anyone who is willing to help an xbox vergion??
I would love to if you could tell me how to make it run on 200gb and on how to get EvoX dashboard too.

Please tell me that you didn't just remove the old HDD and replace it w/ the new one w/o preparing it or transferring your files with Config Magic or Xbox Hard Drive Manager. There are planty of tutorials around here that will instruct you on how to upgrade you HDD. Tutorials are the first threads in every forum.

you do not really need to transfer or copy anything. Although backing up the drive Via FTP to your PC is a real good idea just to be safe.
But i did use an auto installer after installing the new one to format it and replace all the programs and such on it.

there is exactly what i did, a friend write this tutorial for me.
i still have the stock HDD with everything still on it.

The easiest way is to back up the old hdd, slap in the new one, format and prepare the new one, then transfer all your backup files to the new one.
