Just got a problem and wondering if someone can help me. Im trying to backup a DVD and this is the first one I have run into problems with. Im copying Game 7 of the 2004 ALCS and Im using AnyDVD and CloneDVD and it wont read it it says parameters are incorrect. The disc isnt in bad shape either. So i tried DVD Shrink and it gets to 99% reading and then it cancels and says the parameters are incorrect. How do I go about fixing this if possible or am I just screwed? Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi,

If this disk is not protected try using DVD Decrypter (use the first link in my signature to get it). Use DVD Decrypter with AnyDVD running and try to rip it if protected. AnyDVD also has a ripper function now you could try that to get the files to your hard drive. Post back if none of those suggestions work. Good luck.

to burn or not to burn that is the question

thank you for repling. So I used DVD Decrypter and it got to 97% and now its got a read error and i told it to auto ignore and it wont go past that and has about 50 errors and 1000 retries. Is the disc just hopeless or is there another way?

Thank you

Today must just be a bad day. So I moved on to Entourage Season 1 Disc 2 and it gets halfway through on AnyDVD and Clone and it has a VOB error. Maybe my computer is crashing? Any advice? Thanks

It could be your drive. Just a guess on that. But my one DVD drive works at reading just about any DVD and my other one I have doesn't do such a good job. What type of drive do you have?
