i have just started using azureus for the first time and when i tried to open the finished download i get the message that a encription code is needed to enable extraction of file can any one please help with this problem many thanks dale.

its nothing to do with Azureus its just that the file has a password.

whatever file you downloaded type that in in google and put the word password at the end and you should get it.If you are not sure pm me.

Wasn't there something like a "torrent tracked by" file or an nfo file with it... If not try the name of the site it came from. If you start it again and go to "show details" it'll have the name of a site as the origin of the download.. Either visit the site and have a look for the password or try the name of the site itself.. Failing that then it's a gonner. I hate people who think it's clever to password rar archives, It's against the principle of p2p. They only do it to get you to join a rubbish site like xtorrenz..
