I am just curious do the have a mod chip for DS

No, but there is no need for one.

There are numerous devices that perform what a modchip would do (bypass security) these are PassMe, Passkey, Passcard etc.

There is also a firmware replacment for the DS called FlashMe. which performs the same functions of a passme device without the need to have one all the time.
