Nero Backitup problem restoring.

I recently did a back up of my documents and music using Nero 6.6 as I was planning to format C: my computer. I completed the back up then burned them onto a disc.

I erased everything off my C: drive then reinstalled Nero. But when I try to restore the files I get the message. "The file" " is not available in the backup folder. Please select the parent of your backup folder." I can see my files are in the backup, but i can't restore them.

Anyone know how to solve this problem?

i cant say more without knowing more, but maybe it was a Nero file or suffix it was saved as and it wont see it untill Nero is re-installed???

Nero was already re-installed and Nero recognizes the backitup file, but when I try to restore the backitup file it says "The file" " is not available in the backup folder. Please select the parent of your backup folder."
I don't know what the parent of the backup folder is. It won't let me restore the files into other folders.

yeah i'd like to know how to fix this problem also .. i backuped my stuff up on an external hard drive and it keeps giving me the can not locate folder backitup file it says "The file" " is not available in the backup folder. Please select the parent of your backup folder."
there is no help topic that covers this .. anyone have a clue? using Nero 6 ...
