I have recently installed Paragin Partition Manager on my laptop ands used it to convert my D: to NTFS system.
Ever since that im not able to write any files onto a dvd-r or dvd+r.However im able to write a cd or a dvd-rw.I written an image file onto a dvd-r and it doesnt work.The writer says 100% success in creating the disc but Im not able to see any of the files after I insert it back.However the same image when written onto a dvd-rw works fine.Please note that I have tried using other mage files too.
I have Dvd-decryper abd Alcohol 120% as my writing software. Can someone please tell if this is a software or hardware problem.And also the measures to correct them.

Note:These software are installed on C: and not on the drive I converted.My laptop is just 5 months old and my dvd burner was pre-installed on it.I havnt experienced any previous problems with my dvd-drive or laptop.
