YES! This is awesome. I used to have overheating problems. But with the intercooler, I never overheat. Also, this intercooler is supposed to prolong the life of your system!

I have only hear great things but my friend has one and says they are loud and obnoxious as well his system still freezes but only with two fo h is games(madden 06,nfsu)

They are kinda loud, but I would not say to the point of annoyance. Mine does not freeze in any of my games (madden 06, GRAW, oblivion, ping pong, top spin 2, far cry, condemned, hitman or any of my original xbox games) :D So no complaints here!
