can anybody provide us a time conversion table exporting an .avi file to mpeg2 file.

i have a 2hrs. 5mins. avi file, how much bit rate should i use to make it fit on a 4.7gb dvd-r when exporting to mpeg2. i'm using premiere and am going to export it from timeline using the pinnacle preset.

and should i use the default preset when exporting or is there any other tweaking to make before beginning.?

and is it possible to fit a 3hrs. video into dvd-r?
