I been useing black ice alttie to see how abd it is,the sever side protection seems ok but ggaaaa the app protection cant remember apps I have ok'd >< can anyone suggjests a nive simple Program to repalce black ice?
Kerio personal firewall is good too but i dont know their situiation, they are about to be aquired by sun belt firewall but i think they are continuing the firewall.

working on downloading ZA,now all I need is a good antivirus progy I hva Norton AV with system works 04 I guess that would be the same or better than most free AV software? I gave my copy of PC cillin to my uncel,better for a noob to have soemthign thats all around desent,I have been useing it for 5 or 6 months love it just inbetween gettign a new copy *L*

I have tried it years ago with mixxed results,no harm in downloading it again I guess *L*
its not like norotn 04 is any "better" *L*
I like PC cillin by trend micro for around 20 you get a nice all in one AV and firewall program all,the only thing it not so good at is cleaning exe and other files but its good at stoping them at the ports *L*
Yeh, I found Trend Micro's Pc Cillin to be really good, if I liked using Internet Security suites I'd probally choose that, but I dont as I pick and choose my protectiob, but if I did'nt it would be out of that, Zone Alarm IS & Panda Titanium IS.

I bet Zone Alarm & Panda Titanium are 50ish a pop and you only get 1 year of updates *L*
I know PC cillian aint the best but for meduimish high security for 20 you cant beat it :P
Hell the only thing I have ever seen norton AV do right is remvoe virus ffrom infected files and even then 6month old virus at that..and thats useing norotn corp AV ><
I perfer small (under 100MB) and not so resoruce hungery AV programs that are light on thier feet and pack a punch!
